Elementary Remote Learning Expectations

Elementary Student Expectations During

Remote Learning Event - January 10-January 21

  • “Mini lessons” will be posted in Google Classrooms daily and students are expected to log-in to Google Classrooms and Google Meets daily

  • Students will follow their daily schedule, which can be found by logging into student Abre accounts

  • Students will have daily assignments to show progress.

  • Grades will be taken on the assignments that are posted daily

  • Meets will be left open during student work time in case students have questions

  • Teacher contact information will be shared with parents in case of questions or concerns

  • Lunch period will be the time for students to take a break

Attendance During Remote Learning Event

Elementary Campuses

Students must complete two of the following three requirements to be counted present for the day:

  • Log in to google meeting

  • Complete google classroom assignment for the day

  • Complete iReady assignment for the day 10 minutes math and 10 minutes reading maximum)

Families will have the chance to catch up on work on the weekends. Attendance phone calls will not be going out daily.

Breakfast & Lunch for Students During Remote Learning Event

  • 1/10 from 10am-1pm and 5-6pm

  • 1/13 from 10am-1pm and 5-6pm

  • 1/19 from 10am-1pm and 5-6pm

    Pick up is at North or South only for all students!

  • Students will receive 3 meals at a time, so they must come to pick up their meals each time if they want meals for the full 2 weeks. 

  • Parents/guardians are allowed to pick up the meals, they will be asked to provide their students' names and building they attend.
